Changing Automatic Language Selection in Wordly

How to change Automatic Language Selection before a session and during a session

You can edit your Automatic Language Selection settings before a session as well as during a session. 

To change Automatic Language Selection in the Wordly portal before a session

  • From the dashboard, select Sessions from the left side menu.
  • Select the session that you want to change and click Edit.
  • To enable or disable Automatic Language Selection: Select Enabled in the Auto Select dropdown menu to enable Automatic Language Selection. Select Disabled in the Auto Select dropdown menu to disable.
  • To add languages: In the Selections field, click the arrow and select the language(s) that you want included.

When done with the changes, click Save.

To change Automatic Language Selection in the Wordly portal during a session
  1. During your session, expand the Language Controls window in the top right corner.
  • To enable or disable Automatic Language Selection: Click the toggle next to Automatic language selection. Automatic Language Selection is enabled when the toggle displays a Wordly sparkle (als-sparkle).
  • To add languages: Click Add A Language and select the language that you want included. 
  • To remove a language: Click the X next to the language.
  • To manually change a speaker's language: Select the language that you want to change.
