Splitting Transcripts
How to split a long transcript during a session
Transcript splitting is a way for event organizers using all-day sessions to divide a transcript into relevant transcripts. You do this by splitting the transcript while a session is running and there's a break in your meeting.
Example: You have a all-day conference with multiple speakers. You want a separate transcript for each speaker. Instead of stopping and restarting the Wordly session, you would allow the Wordly session to run and split the transcript at each new speaker.
To split a transcript during a session
- Join a session as a presenter.
- Allow the session to capture audio for at least a few lines before trying to split the transcript.
- Click the split button (
). If you are joining from the Wordly Present app on your mobile device, find this button from the 3-horizontal line menu.
The transcripts can be found under the Transcriptions tab. You can download and translate the split transcripts. For more information, read Accessing Transcripts.
