Changing Default Session Settings
How to change the default settings that populate your session
There are certain fields that automatically fill in with default answers when you create a session. You can change those default answers.
To change default session settings
- From the Wordly dashboard, click Session Defaults from the left side menu.
- Edit any of the following:
- Pool of Minutes: Select the account where the session will use minutes.
- Glossary: Select a pre-made glossary.
- Save transcript: Select how Wordly can save a transcript of all the dialogue spoken during a session.
- Floor audio: Select whether floor audio is to be used. Floor audio is when attendees join a floor audio enabled session, and click the speaker button, they'll hear the original audio of the presenter if their listening in the same language. If they're listening in different language, they'll hear the normal text-to-speech.
Floor Audio is an added paid feature. Wordly must enable Floor Audio in your portal before you can set it in your portal. To set up Floor Audio in your portal, contact Wordly sales.
- Voice for attendees using text to speech: Select the voice pack be used for text to voice translations.
- Default input language: The language what Wordly translates from.
- Speaker's language selector: These are the languages that Automatic Language Selection uses to detect what language the presenter is using.
- Automatically switch input language?: Enable Wordly to automatically select the correct presenter language based on the speech detected.
When you're finished editing the fields, click Save.
