Editing Glossaries
How to edit and delete created glossaries
You can edit a glossary to add or remove terms.
You can't edit a shared glossary. You must remove the person you've shared the glossary with before editing.
To edit a glossary
- From the Wordly dashboard, click Glossaries from the left side menu.
- Select the glossary to edit and click the pencil button (
).
- Edit the glossary terms. (Optional) To search for a particular term, click the alphabetize button (
) to sort the term list.
- Click Save.
Clicking the reset button deletes everything you haven’t saved from the glossary. If you’re adding items to an existing glossary and click reset, only the new items will be deleted.
You can remove a language section from a glossary, or delete a complete glossary. Make sure that the glossary isn't being shared or is your default glossary.
To delete a glossary
- From the Wordly dashboard, click Glossaries from the left side menu.
- Select the glossary that you want to delete.
- To remove a language section, click the x button (
) and click Yes in the Delete Section window.
- To delete a glossary, click the trash button (
) and click Yes in the Delete Glossary window.
