Running Your One-on-One Wordly Session

Learn how to start and run your one-on-one session

  1. From the Wordly dashboard, click the Sessions menu and select your desired session. 
  2. Click the Meeting Shortcuts menu below the Attendee Shortcuts.
    Click the first URL under Meeting Shortcuts. Each person needs to enter the session through this URL. You can copy this URL or email it to others.
  3. In the Wordly window, enter your name. This lets Wordly identify who is speaking.
  4. Under More options, select Using push-to-talk. With Using push-to-talk, speakers must unmute themselves by holding down the microphone button (Microphone button ) while speaking. Speakers can hold down the microphone button with the Space key. When the session starts, the microphone is off.
  5. Click Join.
  6. In the Language Controls window, select the language that you'll be presenting in.
  7. Verify that your computer is using the correct audio input device in Settings. From the three-dot menu in the upper right of Wordly, click Settings.
  8. Select your audio device (microphone/headset) from the dropdown menu and click OK.
