Adding A Sponsor Logo to Your Wordly Captions                                    

How to add a logo to display for your attendees

You may display a sponsor logo in your Wordly session alongside captions and translations in the Attend, Display, and Subtitle experiences.

Prerequisites

  • The logo format must be PNG.
  • File size should be no more than 500KB.
  • The height of the logo should be at least 36px.
  • The width of the logo shouldn't be wider than 3 times the height of the logo. Example: For a logo that's 36px high, the logo shouldn't be wider than 108px.

To add a logo to a session

  1. From the Wordly dashboard, click "Sessions" from the left side menu.
  2. Click "Add Session" to create a new session or select an existing session from the session list to edit it.
  3. Under "Logo," click "Select a PNG file" or drag and drop a PNG onto the button. 
  4. Select the PNG to upload.
  5. Click "Save."

Next Steps 

Once you've added the logo to the session, join the session using the Attendee link (from Get Links to Join). Verify that the logo displays correctly. If it doesn't, you can remove the logo from the session, change the PNG to your liking, and add the revised PNG to the session.

If you're using the Subtitle app to display the translations, you need to be aware of how the logo colors react to the background. You should avoid using Luma key as a display type if the logo has black elements, and you should avoid using Chroma key as a display type if the logo has green elements.

To replace a logo in a session

  1. From the Wordly dashboard, click "Sessions" from the left side menu.
  2. Select the session from the session list.
  3. Click the Edit icon () in the "Session Settings" box.
  4. Under "Logo," click the X on the PNG file.
  5. Click "Select a PNG file" or drag and drop a PNG onto the button. 
  6. Select the PNG to upload.
  7. Click "Save."
