Managing Your Email Address & Password
How to update the email or password attached to your Wordly account
You can change your portal's security settings, such as your name, email, and your password.
Your username is the email that you have saved in the portal. However your first and last name display in the upper right corner to identify who's signed in.
To update your email or name
- In your Wordly portal, click your profile button in the upper right of the screen.
- Click Profile to view profile details.
- Navigate to the bottom of the screen and click the Manage email and password link.
- Under the Personal info tab,
- Enter a new email in the Email field.
- Enter a new first and last name in those fields.
- Click Save.
When you click Back to Wordly Portal, the profile page updates to reflect the changes.
Don't use the Edit Profile link on the Profile page to change the first and last name of your profile. It's not saved in the Personal info tab, and if you navigate to that tab, the name reverts to the first name and last name listed under Personal info.
To update your password
If you've always used a separate Single Sign On (SSO) service like Google, Apple, or a corporate login, you'll have to authenticate through that service before entering a password.
- In your Wordly portal, click your profile button in the upper right of the screen.
- Click Profile to view profile details.
- Navigate to the bottom of the screen and click the Manage email and password link.
- From the left menu, expand the Account security tab.

Click Signing in.
- From the Basic authentication section, click Update. You will be asked to verify your identify by entering your old password.
- From the Update Password screen, enter your new password and then confirm the new password. You can select the Sign out from other devices option to force other devices using your account to sign in using the new password.
- Click Submit.
If you've forgotten your Wordly password, you can reset it by clicking Forgot password? at Wordly sign in.
