How to update the email or password attached to your Wordly account

You can change your portal's security settings, such as your email and your password. You can also set up two-factor authentication. 

To change your portal's security settings

  1. In your Wordly portal, click your profile button in the upper right of the screen.
  2. Click Profile to view profile details.
  3. Navigate to the bottom of the screen and click the Manage email and password link.

From the Personal info page in your profile, you can:

To update your email
  1. Change the email listed.
  2. Click Save.

    To update your password

      If you've always used a separate Single Sign On (SSO) service like Google, Apple, or a corporate login, you'll have to authenticate through that service before entering a password.

      1. From the left menu, expand Account security.
      2. Click Signing in.

      3. From the Basic authentication section, click Update. You will be asked to verify your identify by entering your old password. 
      4. From the Update Password screen, enter your new password and then confirm the new password. You can select the Sign out from other devices option to force other devices using your account to sign in using the new password.
      5. Click Submit.

      To set up two-factor authentication

      1. From the left menu, expand Account security.
      2. Click Signing in.

      3. From the Two-factor section, click Set up Authenticator application.You will be asked to verify your identify by entering your old password. The Mobile Authenticator Setup page displays.
      4. On the mobile device that you want to have two-factor authentication, install one of the following applications:
        • Microsoft Authenticator
        • FreeOTP
        • Google Authenticator
      5. Open that application and scan the barcode in the Mobile Authenticator Setup page. 
        • If you're unable to scan the barcode, click Unable to scan? and open the authentication application. Enter the key that displays in the Mobile Authenticator Setup and add the listed configuration values. 
      6. Enter the one-time code provided by the application and provide a device name to help you manager your OTP. You can select the Sign out from other devices option to force other devices using your account to sign in using the new password.
      7. Click Submit to finish the setup.
