Special considerations for using Wordly with Zoom Webinars

Hosting a Zoom webinar with Zoom integration is very similar to hosting a Zoom meeting. However there are a few important considerations to keep in mind before hosting your Zoom webinar with the Zoom integration:
  • Enable Zoom chat. Attendees need to receive the in-app invitation through the Zoom chat. If chat can’t be enabled, direct attendees to access translations through the attendee link or QR code instead of within Zoom.
  • Set expectations for device access.  Let attendees know in advance that they must join from a desktop to access Wordly. Attendees joining from a mobile device or tablet won’t be able to use it.
  • Send the in-app invitation at the right time.The invitation to Wordly can only be sent once, so make sure attendees are already in the session before you send it. If someone joins late, direct them to view translations by the attendee link or QR code instead of within Zoom.
