Share glossaries with other portals

You can share your glossary with other Wordly users.

To share a glossary

  1. From the Wordly dashboard, select Glossaries from the left side menu.
  2. Select the glossary that you want to share and click Share
  3. In the Share Glossary window, enter the email address of the Wordly user that you want to share with and click Share. The invitation to the user displays with the glossary. You can choose to resend the invitation or delete the invitation.

Next Steps

The person receiving the glossary will need to accept the glossary. They can accept it in two ways: from the bell icon in the top menu and from the Glossaries menu.

To accept a glossary from the bell icon

  1. Log into the Wordly portal that received the glossary.
  2. From the dashboard, click the bell icon ( alert ) in the top menu bar to open the Alerts page.
  3. Click Accept and then Yes in the next window.

To accept a glossary from the Glossaries menu

  1. Log into the Wordly portal that received the glossary.
  2. From the dashboard, select Glossaries from the left side menu. There should be a red notification badge on Glossaries that lets you know that you’ve been sent the glossary (glossaries-alert) .
  3. Click the Pending tab to view the invitation. When you accept the glossary, it will be made the default glossary unless you specify otherwise. Clear the Set as Default checkbox to make sure that the glossary isn’t made as the default glossary.
  4. Click Accept and then Yes in the next window.
